Lex Paulson

Director, School of Collective Intelligence, Mohammed VI Polytechnic University

Trained as a community organizer, he helped craft mobilization and training strategy for the campaigns of Barack Obama in 2008 and Emmanuel Macron in 2017. Attorney, professor, writer and consultant in international governance for UNICEF, the US State Department, the French National Assembly and the National Democratic Institute (NDI). Trained in political theory at Yale, Cambridge, and the Sorbonne, he served as legislative counsel in the 111th U.S. Congress, organized on four US presidential campaigns, and has additionally worked as a volunteer attorney for Lawyers for Children America. As a facilitator and trainer, he worked to advance democratic innovation at the European Commission, as well as with NGOs and governments in India, Tunisia, Egypt, Uganda, Senegal, Czech Republic and Ukraine.
